About 6 years ago a friend & I both had tooth trouble, we both had a back tooth that had been filled & we both lost the filling in the same month.
We both had the filling replaced, & within 6 months both fillings fell out. My friend returned 4 or 5 times to have the filling replaced & each time the filling fell out after a few months, she paid a lot of money to have the fillings replaced but to no avail. Last week when chatting on the phone she mentioned that she had finally given up & had the tooth extracted, her dentist tried to persuade her to have some sort of post fitted to hold a crown, but my friend had by now spent a fortune & so refused.
I on the other had did nothing after having the replacement filling fall out. I wasn't getting any pain from the tooth & so I left it.
The same week my friend had her tooth extracted mine snapped off, so we now both have a gap in the same place & at least I didn't spend money on mine.
