Ok, as you have probably all realised by now, I am slightly batty, ok, ok, more than slightly.
But I have just signed up for a course of evening classes, basket making, but not just any old baskets, these will be made from such items as parcel tape, old magazines & electrical wire, even my mind is boggling. The classes start in February, if I manage to make anything that even vaguely resembles a basket I will post pics.

Hi Hester x
I like the sound of your course. I recently saw a course advertised where you wove your own coffin out of coffin with willow. Honestly you would be worried if your hubby signed you up for that one!!
The first session involved being measured up - I kid you not!! Hope you enjoy your course though and I love the rag wreath as I love Mooloo's too xx
Hooray for the minder getting a new job!
I like the idea of baskets from alternative materials.
I recently saw a book title called something like 'hard crochet' which is all about crocheting really tightly and making hats and bags with the stiff material that results.
Sounds fantastic! you must post picture's.
Congrat's on the Minder's new job.
Hi Hester, I like the sound of the course too. I am intrigued by it though and cant wait to see the finished items!
This sounds really cool!!
Does the course have a course 'name'? As I'd like to have a look locally.
Good luck with it. I can't wait to see what you make :o)
P.s. I don't think your batty, I think you're a wonderful inspiration, and I would be so proud of you if you were my Mum!
xx
what a neat idea and clever for the person who thought of it....
