Well I shall try anyway!
Last night I couldn't sleep so I listed on Ebay & Amazon, everything that wasn't nailed down.
I made a really cheap meal for tea, I took all the odds & sods from the fridge (one potato, 2 soft cherry toms, 2 shrivelled mushrooms, a spoonful of peas & a sprouting onion), I chopped them all into smallish dice & dry fried them in a large frying pan, I then added 4 beaten eggs & a sprinkling of herbs & made fritatta. It was big enough to provide tea & lunch for me for 2 days, monotonous, maybe, but I wasn't hungry.
Hardup Hester's stretching the penny's blog
This is my blog, I ramble on about many things from frugal living, make do & mend, my dysfunctional in-laws, swinging (the cause of my divorce) & my assortment of mad lodgers. My life lurches from calm to chaotic depending mainly of the state of my finances & the in-laws state of mind. I hope you enjoy my blog, I'm always happy to answer questions on here or via email, harduphester@yahoo.com.

Minus £100
It's official we are losing £100 a month, our lunch duty times are being cut!
I love the way we get kicked in the teeth so regularly, teachers receive a pay rise every year, support staff haven't had a payrise in 5 years, oh well, as long as everything is fair, that's ok.
I'm devastated, I will recover, but at the moment it feels very dark here.

Listings
I've listed some cookery books on Amazon & a PVC corset on Ebay, lets hope they sell. I realised that I have cookery books that I only use one recipe from, I've copied the recipes & listed the books, a little less clutter in the kitchen.
I've also emptied & counted the penny jar, tomorrow I shall pay it in to the bank, I need to tax my car at the end of June & the £37 in pennies will all help towards it.
The Minder is on the early shift next week, this means a 5:30 start & 9 hour working day for me, what joy, still I'm just grateful that I have a job.
We have 9 years 'til the mortgage is paid off, so I need to work 'til I'm 70, it won't happen, where I work the whole ethos it towards 'Yoof' still I'll keep dying my hair & hopefully I can stay on a few more years.

Grand Prix & 3 B's
The Minder loves the GP & the rule in this house is that the GP comes with 3 B's, Beer, Burger & I'm not telling you the 3rd one as it's rude, lol.

Does anyone want
A Makaton course pack 1?
I was hoping to sell it on Ebay, but I cannot find a category that it will fit into & it is a rather specialist item.
For those who don't know it's a form of signing, it's used in lots of children's TV programs.
I'd be happy to swap it for a few balls of yarn.
Ouch, ouch ouch
With some alteration to our mortgage & other general increases in our utility bills our outgoings have jumped to £1400 a month, ouch. When we moved here I was able to cover all our DD's from my salary of £833 a month & still manage to feed us. We have lived here for 7 years & most of the increases have happened in the last 2 years & my pay has gone up £1 a month in 7 years!
